My main point was that he didn't come out and say the backlash he received was all due to race. People are saying he played the race card when in reality he was asked a pretty dumb question, said something that shouldn't be seen as controversial, didn't talk about it in great depth, and didn't give it more than a 5 or 6 word response. It is getting blown out of proportion. Sure booing him and the like is fine, but fans making a big deal out of this is just is minor league.KR1245;502630 wrote:I dont understand this "Cleveland fans are butt hurt" crap. Doesnt that apply to most fan bases out there? I saw the Yankees play in Seattle a year ago and AROD still gets booed in Seattle. Manny Gets booed in Boston. Favre gets the same thing in GB. Thats how sports work. Is there a certain time frame in which Cleveland fans are allowed to criticize Lebron? If the guy says or does something stupid and a Cleveland fan makes a comment its because they are "butt hurt"?
