Yeah I know quite a few people banking on the fact the team store down at GABP will have them in today. I kinda think they will be out quickly. I'll have mine by the time they playoffs start, thats good enough for me.

Even better, this guy in the diamond seats actually calls it. I love how he calls it "The shot heard round the Nati", Jay Bruce became only the 5th player to do what Bobby Thompson did 50 years ago: clinch a title and playoff birth with a walk-off HR.

I found them on the Reds website, but have not gone through the ordering process. Gotta ask the wife :D. Is there any other place out there that sells them?

Since the Pirates beat the Cards, Reds would have swept last night no matter what, but Captain Obvious is telling me the way things went down made it a bit more fun for everyone. Rhodes' "how you like that shit" being caught live had me cracking up!

That's hilarious about Rhodes..because my friends and I were visioning everyone pouring champagne and going crazy, while Rhodes was in sittin in a rocking chair in the corner of the locker room smokin a stogie and sippin on a glass of brandy repeating out loud in an old fashioned voice "Well done gentlemen, well done"

I heard all kinds of swearing during the post-game celebration. How about Alonso drenching the crowd in beer? haha

I heard Dusty say "Oh shit", when they got him with the champagne. Then you could tell he started to say F***, but I think he realized he was on camera and didn't really say it out loud!

Also, pretty sure Alonso may have been drunk before the game was even over! lol

I can see Corky Miller as the guy that went into the locker room Stone Cold Steve Austin style. Just slammin' beers together and shotgunning them!!

Corky Miller is the manliest of men. Instead of a playoff beard I am growing a playoff fu-manchu in honor of him since he won't be on the playoff roster.

A few thoughts on the celebration that ensued:

-I felt most happy for Aaron Harang. Seeing him celebrate a division title makes me smile because he played his ass off for the team when we sucked, he's certainly not been very effective the past 2 seasons and I'm sure that weighs on him (as well as the fact that he won't be re-signed) but to see him forget it all for a night and celebrate with the team he's led for so long was awesome.

-How weird does Willie Bloomquist feel? Acquired during the waning weeks of the season.....barely gets to know these guys and BOOM! you're celebrating with them like a kid on christmas. He's gotta feel like "damn, I didn't really contribute to this title, but at least I'm not in Kansas City anymore!"

-Chris Dickerson probably felt pretty bad watching that. His old team, all those players he came up thru the minors with, and instead of him celebrating, Jim Edmunds gets to celebrate his umteenth championship.

-^^Ditto for guys like Wayne Krivsky, Jim Bowden, Dan O'Brien, etc. Seeing the players you've drafted and traded for celebrate under the helm of someone else......damn. Especially Krivsky seeing as he was fired not necessarily because he wasn't good enough, but because Jocketty was potentially better and was waiting in the wings.
