Why did the Reds pull some of their starters? Everyone knows that a 9 run lead is not safe with these pitchers. Who is to say that a 10 run lead is going to be any better?

Final: Reds 12 Padres 2

Reds are 1 win on Tuesday or Cardinals loss tomorrow to Clinch the Division ..... I'd rather STL win tomorrow and the Reds clinch at home on Tuesday Night

Reds go a respectable 4-5 on the road trip, and outscored the opponents 45-38. Better defense and fundamentals would have provided a better chance to have a much better record as they were 3-1 in games decided by more than 2 runs, but were just 1-4 in games decided by 2 runs or less! They now have dropped below .500 in one run games! They need to sharpen up their game over the last 6 games and gain home field advantage against all possible opponents, save the Phillies.
