Mallet has a 68.8 comp % so Brantley may be able to expose Alabama's secondary similar to how Mallet did. I would also add that Florida's defense is superior to Arkansas and the offensive line is superior to Arkansas. Simply Florida is superior to Arkansas who outplayed Alabama. Now that was one game and teams respond differently week to week, but I think this game will be pretty close.
Right now Brantley is not Mallet, but that may be a good thing if he does not have mental breakdowns and make poor decisions.
What do you think the line on the game will be?
Perhaps Brantley will have a good game, but he has yet to play against a tough defense. Although, I though he has not seen a Saban defense, which will adjust in the 2nd half.
Again, I think it will be a close game, with Florida in the lead in some parts. However, I think the ability of Alabama to run the ball and make throws to Jones will be enough to put them ahead by 10 or so late.
I do expect Demps to have a huge game, and Florida's defense to play largely well.
If I had to give a spread, Bama favored by 7 or 8. It is at home for Bama, at night, so that is a factor as well.
