Ohio State goes 3-and-out and Illinois will start on the OSU 36-yard line.

1:25 left in 1st quarter

Shades of 2006 so far.

I think you mean 2007, but I get your point. Even that Illinois TD (QB draw) brought back memories of that horribly long Illini drive that year.

Horrible possession by OSU. Why not roll Pryor out, where he can look to hit the TE, run, or at worst throw the ball out of bounds?

It's way early. I think Illinois hangs around for the half but then OSU pulls away on the 2nd half.

No, 2006. OSU played like absolute garbage the whole game in Illi, and somehow won.
I can see that happening. 17-10 game I can easily see.

Tyler Moeller is back on the sidelines minus pads. Looks like his day is over

I may be completely wrong here, but doesn't it seem that opponents miss a lot of FGs against us? Wish I had that stat handy.

The wind is terrible there, which is part of the reason the OSU punts sucked in the first quarter. Have the announcers even mentioned the wind? It's had a huge effect on the game so far...

That's what I thought ... man, the Big 10 Network announcers suck balls.

I don't think the wind has been mentioned much, but I will say it looked like it had enough on it, it just seemed to die.

I hate mentioning playcalling, but what is with all the runs?
Why are there no swing passes, or crossing routes or passes to the flat?
Tressel ball has come back in full force this game.

I think the announcers are pretending like the wind doesn't exist and are just being either disappointed with the kicks or impressed. Idiots...

Couple huge factors going on in this game that I'm not sure if the announcers have mentioned:
The Wind- OSU went against it first quarter- punts all sucked, Illinois is going against it now- missed FG. Kicks are pretty much hitting a wall midair
OSU Secondary- Moeller is done for the day, on the sideline without pads. Chekwa came off the field as well, don't know his status.

Both these came from Scout message board posts from on field reporters.
Big 10 announcers suck for not bringing up these types of things...

Illinois punts and Ohio State with a solid return into Illinois territory where they'll have first down.

Has there even been a mention of the Illibuck trophy? Just seems like the Big 10 Network announcers are lazy in their preparation, they don't mention a lot of things (rivalry game, wind factor, injuries, etc).
