An Amber Ale that was made to be an imitation of an Alaskan Amber Ale
A made from scratch Double Wheat (double, not Dubble) that is about 30-35 proof depending on which bottle, and might I say that it is G.O.O.D.!

Not a joke right?? He is gone my friend it's been talked about on a couple threads sorry if you missed it. The Friday after I posted the bone cancer thread I had to put him down as it got much much worse and he was in serious pain.

Only had one beer today. It was an OB, a Korean beer that I drank at a Korean Restaurant tonight with my dinner. It was the first time I tried it since 1988. It sucked back then, but when I had it today it was pretty nice. It didn't help that OB was about the ONLY beer you could get off base back then. I do remember if you were lucky you could get Carlsburg. (had it on a train ride to Osan once) They eventually got Budweiser there in the early months of 1988.

We could get regular beer on base. Including San Miguel from the Philippines..and it was different than the San we get here in the States.

But I might have some Stouts tonight from my over 200 bottle stash. Love cool evenings with a warm and High alcohol beer !!!
