It took me a couple or three days of seasoning it to get it there, but its finally there. I do have a wet sponge in a 'sammach' bag in it. Distilled water of course. I'll wait a few more days to see how it goes.

On a side note, I'm out enjoying this nice weather with a Dominican Cohiba.

My stick today after work (half day) was a new one to me: an Oliva Cain. I tend to be pretty skeptical of cigars that are marketed the way Cains usually are, but I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised.

Last night, I had one of my favorites in a Gurkha Status. I had missed dinner, so I wasn't about to go with a Man O War, and it filled in quite nicely.

My name over there is Chase. They are pissed at me though so I won't post much. I just tend to read a lot right now. It is a really good group of guys and gals over there but don't get on their bad side.

In short, they gifted me a ton of cigars over the last couple of years. And earlier in the year, my wife and I hit some really bad financial issues. During this time I sold off a lot of my possessions. I also tried to sell some of the cigars I got in order to make ends meet. The problem is when they called me out on it and I tried to lie about it...swearing that it wasn't their gifted cigars. During this I was lying to myself and when I realized that I came clean. Obviously they were pissed. A few have moved on from it but not many.

I can honestly say that I never end up selling a single cigar because I felt so bad. It is one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made and I refret it every single day because they are a great group of people and I considered them part of my family. But I ruined that. I hope some day in the future they can forgive me.

Thanks man....that would actually mean a ton to me. Like I said...I know I messed up bad.....and regret it every single day...and beat myself up over it all the time. I was in with them pretty close for a while...even went camping with them...it was a great time!

Society...thanks...I know...lol...I am only human and I make stupid mistakes like everyone. I will never claim to be near perfect.

O-trap, sorry been away awhile. It's an all-Dominican product. The Toro is 6x50.

Lateley been smoking the San Luis Rey Serie G #6- It's 6x60- the maduro is pretty big flavored, but the Conn. wrapper is a lot of flavor without being overpowering. Not ridiculously priced either.

In honor if GB winning tonight I'm smoking my Dunnhill Cabreras. Yes the one in the metal tube. I've always loved this cigar...and I've always loved Dunhills since I had my first one in 1985/1986.

I prefer the MX2 to both the LX2 and their old CX2 (which is no longer in production, but I've still got one :D).

Had a Cigar Factory Outlet hand rolled on Sunday. It was nasty. Burnt well and had a really nice draw though.

You'll find the longer you smoke cigars any stick with the word "outlet" in it, is probably best left laying on the shelf. :)

I have to agree. I've had the MX2 a few times and I really really like it. I had never had the LX2 before the other night and wont be buying it again.

Ever have the CX2? It was also better than the LX2 in my opinion.

I haven't had a LX2. I might have to break down and buy one/some online. I've never been disappointed in any CAO, some are just better than others.
