you don't even have to look at the play, he wouldn't catch it

He must have gotten kicked in the nuts while he was over there. His voice seemed to become very faint and high pitched for that call.

an eight point lead is big, forcing them to get the TD and two

you definitely would rather stop them and be down four even if it takes an extra 30 seconds and a timeout

that wasn't as hard as the announcers were making it
