The Nuggets are stupid. Why not let the Nets suck until the trade deadline, then ship Melo to Jersey? Get a higher 1st round pick..

That's one way to look at it, but then Jersey might not be willing to give up as much and would just take their chances signing him after the season.

Because they know Melo wont sign an extension witht hem so why would the Nets agree to it?

I heard from Bill Cowher's house in Strongsville who in turn talked to LBJ's NY penthouse that the Warriors were making a pitch to aquire him. They even said they wouldn't require Melo to sign an extension for the trade.
