I have been watching a few of the Next Generations episodes, and there are several items shown which are supposed to be ultra futuristic that we already have.

The students in class were holding electronic textbooks that look just like Amazon Kindles
The communicators are pretty much nothing more than bluetooth headpieces
The 3D television and 3D computer images are both pretty commonplace now.
Hell, there is even private spaceflight now.


Now cue the "Never get laid" jokes.

I wish I had a food replicator...my kids are eating me to bankruptcy! lol

^^^^No kidding. I don't have any kids, but I would love a Pizza right now and I don't want to get dressed and drive into town for one.
