Iowa travels to Arizona and at the time of kickoff it might be 100 degrees. Will weather be a factor and will Arizona have a "huge" advantage? Arizona is at home, ranked, used to the weather that Iowa isnt..............so that's a guarantee win for Arizona right?

It's a dry heat in Arizona, so heat there isn't as big of a factor for a team traveling there than it would be for a team traveling here (humidity is harder to adjust to). Also, 100 degrees is crazy hot. No matter where you're from you can never really get used to that, so if it gives Arizona an advantage I doubt it will be that big of an advantage. And let's be honest, it's not like Iowa is a frozen tundra. It get's into the high 90's near 100 there all summer long.

Yeah, those plains states have pretty big swings in temp in their different seasons

I doubt it. Iowa has been practicing in 90 degree weather through the summer with high humidity. I think we will see what Iowa is made of tonight. I happen to think they are for real and one of the top teams in the country.

Saw the ESPN presskit package for this game and it says the AZ Defensive Coor attended Otterbein College!

it wasn't a factor when OSU went out there 8 or 9 years ago and got a win.

I don't think it will be a big deal for Iowa.

Big takeaway for the Iowa defense there. If they had gone down 21-0, it would have been very tough to get back into this game.

Iowa works hard to get it back to 14-7 and then it's all thrown away with terrible kick coverage.

It looks like 'Zona is gonna be tough to handle tonight. Hope the Hawkeyes can win this for the Big Ten, but I'm afraid it's not gonna happen. Still a long way to go though.

I know Arizona hasn't done much offensively, but they're making plays in other phases of the game. Iowa is moving the ball, but they're not finishing off drives. A 21-7 deficit in a hostile environment isn't an easy thing to overcome. Believe me, I hope Iowa wins this game, and they very well could, but I'm not liking what I'm seeing right now.
