I am forced to hear a lot of his music because my daughters play that shit all the time. They have the CD's, Tee shirts, posters, etc. But they are eleven and ten so if it is just marketing it is working out pretty well for the kid.

I saw the episode of him on Shaq versus. Didn't really change my opinion of him.

Ask any girl between the ages of 8 and 17 about him and I think you may understand.

Most pop stars have Marketing Geniuses if they are succesful ones. If that is too hard to comprehend then you're lost.

If you're not man enough to admit that "Baby" is a catchy tune, you're full of shit.

Generally speaking, the kid is a douche and probably isn't going to last after he hits puberty.

...but that song is catchy. I'm not even ashamed to admit it's on my iPod.

Usher is making so much money off Beiber. Same way Akon cashed in on Lady Gaga. He's a product/brand, and all products have production cycles...he'll be irrelevent in two years.

I do not blame him at all, he is just taking money where its available. It is up to the public to decide what music sucks and sadly this is where we are right now. Now kids, his primary market, do not know any better. It is up to the parents to sit them down, explain to them that he cannot sing, does not write his own music, and is trying to trick you.

He follows a long line of tools (NSYNC, BSB, 98 degrees)
I wish ten years ago my parents would have invested into making me cute/dreamy and a good singer so I could appeal to the most gullible age group of music fans out there.

I was obvioulsy being a little sarcastic, but seriously I would never spend a dime of my money on tee shirts, cd's, etc. for one of these manufactured pop stars.

Likewise. I couldn't tell you what the tune is or anything. I do know that some of the lyrics are "baby baby baby oh, baby baby baby no" which could have been written by a 2 year old in magic marker.

...and you wonder why you guys are single and spend way too much time on an online message board. You need to broaden your musical horizons! Let a little pop in...you don't have to buy the albums or go to the concerts....just open up to it.

Heck, you may get laid!

Justin Bieber is not the type of pop music that anyone should open themselves up to. There is good pop music, Justin Bieber isn't it.

I was once married...to a chick. And when it comes to the problems that led to the dissolution, my opinions on lame-ass pop music didn't once enter the equation.

...OR you can just let 10 year olds be 10 year olds. The last thing most tweens want to do is 'be original' at that age. Just sayin'.
