Now that was a fun game! Very frustrating to see UC leave so many points out there, but at least now the fans and team will have a ton of confidence entering Big East play. I couldn't see but did UC touch the onside kick? That was so close.
I was slightly disappointed at kickoff that the stadium was pretty empty but it filled up nicely and sure was loud in the 4th quarter. I hope more teams are willing to come here, I talked to many OU fans and they were great. They all seemed to love the experience.
If UC was 2-1 or 3-0 I think I'd be mad right now that they let this one get away, but I'm pretty happy with the effort and result. Great game plan by coach Jones and great effort by all the young guys.

Onside actually ticked off an Oklahoma players foot first.

Yeah, it was a lot of fun. It would've been a nice win for the Big East if UC would've pulled it out. I still had a good time as a fan of neither team.

Stadium was rocking tonight. Announced attendance was a little over 58K (stadium seats 65K). Looked like all the seats were filled except the Club Level seating and some other scattered around the stadium. However, the crowd was rocking-- particularly in the later parts of the game when UC made it a 24-22 ballgame.
UC is now 1-3, but in retrospect they played a pretty tough schedule while figuring out a new system. NC State is looking really good, Oklahoma is Oklahoma and Fresno is a tough out for anyone (ask USC). Like Dave posted, every game left on the schedule is winnable for this team, and since it is conference play, it is all that mattters.

UC made a better showing than I thought they would. They need to refocus, the Big East is extremely winnable.

The TV announcers said some very nice things about Steubenville Big Red when they were talking about Zack Collaros. I was real happy about that.
