It's a question for all the RRod haters who wanted him fired after 1 season.

Probably won't find too many RichRod haters among Notre Dame fans.

It wasn't directed at ND fans. There are plenty of OSU fans lurking this thread.

We don't really care whether DickRod gets fired or not...we just love to laugh at any misery that comes scUM's way. And when Ratard Robinson gets injured (and he definitely will running the ball 25+ times a game) we will laugh and point with much gusto. 5:1 he doesn't make it past 3 more games.

5:1 that he won't make it past UMass, BG, and Indiana? You prove with every post what a jackass you are.

Will you give me 5:1 on $100 on that?

ND - 20

MSU - 34

MSU hasn't really had to do much the first two weeks, but win. They seem to be taking a page out of Michigans book in 2006. They knew they could win the first 2 games, without showing much. They know their first BIG game this year is ND. They know they have a better defense than both Michigan and Purdue. MSU's front 6-7 will be able to get to Crist, making it easier for their secondary to cover. Just get this feeling MSU has been ready for this game for awhile.

No re-read my post, I said other than those jokes. My gosh, OSU fans have ripped RR up one side and down the other since he was hired.

webfire is right. To me, as someone who actually understands football, unlike most of the dipshits (read "sleeper" and/or "Tiernan") on here, thought the 3-9 wasn't cause to fire him.

I don't, however, understand how the change from Lloyd Carr's vanilla offense to Rodriguez's revolutionary spread offense made the defense so fucking terrible. I know a guy who coached a team successfully on offense, but unsuccessfully on defense. So unless Rodriguez is aiming to become the offensive coordinator for the Kansas City chiefs, he may want to solve that problem.

The defense is a deep subject that has been hashed out on message boards across the interweb. I'm not even going to get into another one.

and this from the brainiac who is dead last in the College Pick 'Em after two weeks. And I see Webbie was too much of a puss to even get in the action.

Yeah I only did picks for week one hahaha and not even the full week if I remember correctly.

But a wise man knows what he does not know. Get it? I don't care for football picks because they're more or less a shot in the dark. You do not have access to the critical information the coaches do to make a very good judgment. You don't see the practices, you don't know the players of both teams all that well. You think you do, but you don't. You don't know the play that was called and then audibled, you only know the score and stats. It's why the common man worships quarterbacks, receivers, and running backs, not offensive linemen. You can attempt to measure who is better based on statistics. Too many stupid fuckers thinking this is track and stats vs. stats prove who is better.

At the end of the day, so few people have a fucking clue what they're talking about when it comes to football it's laughable. Just a bunch of improperly educated (and properly uneducated by ESPN....so they're double fucked) morons that grade players and teams by highlights and stats while they completely ignore the beautiful intricacies of the game.

I don't mean to get elitist on you, but if you had any comprehension of the game, you'd know full well Brian Kelly's Notre Dame team has been coached so well to this point they make Charlie Weis' attention to detail and Jon Tenuta's schemes look terrible.

Ok. Sherm Ewok and Karen vs Onebuckeye for Avatars. or we could do avatars and sigs. If I win, you will all have matching OSU avatars, I am debating between these.
