I can not find one either. 7:43 in the 4th.
I'll mark it down here so if I get a copy I will know where in the video to look for the play.

IMO, ND and MSU played very equal. The one thing I noticed about ND is that the defense is too slow and they don't wrap up when tackling. I don't know how many times I thought a ball carrier would be tackled and the got extra yards. However, I was more impressed with ND's offense than MSU's, I think it all came down to not being ready for a trick play because these teams were equal overall.

MSU gained a lot of yards when they got to the edges, not as well when they went up the gut, so yeah, I agree about the speed being a little lacking on D.

They did have a few runs up the gut that got some extra yardage because of bad tackling, but you are correct, most the yards were due to getting beat on the edge.

nothing really to add...just wanted ND posters to see my new signature and gloat some more.

God Sat was beautiful...scUM wins but really loses, ND gets a taste of what they've done for years in SB and AZ takes the starch out of IOWA's shorts.

What about the referee, who on that particular play had a closer and clearer view of both the play clock and the ball being snapped?

Maybe because the referee is busy looking at the holder and the kicker, both of which are afforded special protection and have special rules on the play.

Are they in need of special protection before the ball is snapped?

So you want the referee to have the clock, then snap, the holder and kicker?

Again what special protection is needed in the split second between the snap and when it would be possible for there to be contact with kicker/holder?

Is this the same split second that the backjudge gets to go from clock to snap? I do not agree that it needs changed.
