Surprise surprise, a walk followed by a hit from the Rockies.

Was it necessary to try and squeeze an extra inning out of Ondrusek and waste an at-bat with him at the plate?

That was a mind-boggling decision. PROTIP: When your 5-0 lead has been whittled down to 5-3 because your offense apparently decided five runs was enough...you don't take the attitude that you're just going to coast through the remaining innings.
They're still up 5-4 at this very second, but I'll be surprised if they win. The players and coaches just seem to have lost intensity and the Rockies are in that "they let us back in this shit, so let's kick ass" mode.

Especially with a relatively rested back end of the bullpen.

I'm only following on ESPN GameCast, glad I can't watch the Reds attempt at blowing another 5 run lead

Loading the bases for Carlos Gonzalez is ALWAYS a good idea.

Yeah, I am following along on Yahoo and it's bad enough. In about 4 minutes I'll be listening on the radio. Ugh.

Indeed. That guy sucks. Especially at Coors Field.

For future reference, how much of a bitch move would it be if the Reds wind up winning and I edit this post to make it look like I was 100 percent confident they would the entire time?

Don't worry, jordo is the Reds fan police and will have somehow remembered what you said and use that as proof that you are not a legitimate fan.

Okay. I'm only paying attention to this game on Yahoo. The words "C. Nelson stole home" just appeared. WTF happened?

This is pathetic ..... We seriously need to win at least 6 of the 7 games at home and hope the Braves can beat the Cards

Uh yeah. Runners on first and third and Nelson just took off. Masset stepped off and turned towards second and by the time he spun around, he didn't have time to get Nelson at the plate. I've never seen anything like that.

Runner on first didn't make a move towards second at all.
