Kindof disappointing that the crew won't be in Columbus this week, seems to me a bigger game than Alabama-Penn State, which unfortunately I see as a potential Alabama blowout.

Given the history of the 2 schools, not a surprise, and the right move. Better story line really.
Gameday will be either in Madison, Iowa City or even Columbus for the Michigan game for the Buckeyes.

The 49 states around ohio would rather see 2 huge tradition schools play, that are both ranked. Miami doesnt have much of a following compared to these schools. And SEC vs. Big 10 with the defending champs playing.

Better storyline in Bama but better competition/game in Columbus.

Bama is going to kill PSU.

You forgot the [BREAKING NEWS] portion of the title:D:D

But on subject, they couldnt have gone wrong either way, but from a neutral standpoint Im much more interested in the PSU versus Bama game, especially if Ingram makes it back.

Don't see the concern here. Bama is the defending national champion and this is a big cross regional matchup that will garner more interest than OSU-Miami. It's not as if Gameday chose Bama-San Jose St over OSU-Miami.

They'll be here in Columbus a couple times before the season is over.

Sorry, based on your 4,000 posts, I can see that you are on the web all day. Me bad, you good. Next Labor Day weekend, I will refrain from having a fun weekend outside and make sure I keep up to speed on all ESPN programming notifications.

It was just a joke, Fowler tweeted about it last Thursday (read: before Labor Day weekend). Unbunch your panties.

Panties unbunched :)

Which leads to an interesting tangent ... there should be a Panties thread on the Serious Business forum.

One game is @ 3:40pm and one is @ 7pm. Pretty sure they can watch both games if they like. Not sure what that has to do w/ where the Gameday crew will be though.

Oh really? And how exactly would you prove this? By game day being there? Interesting seeing that even Mark May said the OSU/Miami game was the biggest game of the year. Cut the crap, you hate OSU...thus your ignorant comment. Bama will more then likely torch PSU, game over by half. The OSU Miami game will be a very good game, between two very good teams. Any sports minded person with half a brain would rather watch a "better" game then one that will more then likely not be.

BTW, even the Okl vs Fla St game has me more interested in Bama vs PSU. That will be a better game as well. And I have no problem with Game Day being at Bama. Defending champs, etc, etc.

The OSU game will probably be the better game to watch as for close score, but as I said.....more people care about the Bama/PSU game. Take off YOUR Scarlett goggles and realize that OSU isnt the only team in america.

Actually, I would assume MORE SPORTS MINDED fans are like me. They like to actually watch the BETTER game. Who gives a rats ass about story lines. I'll take a better game in any sport over media BS. You think I or other true sports fan really care where game day is? I don't tune into a game to watch game day. lol

Notre Dame/Michigan will likely be a better game than OSU/Miami. Which game will your sports minded brain watch?
