Indiana/Notre Dame fan, but same principal:

I pretty much have a TON of teams I root for, but it changes year to year. Clemson the last few years cause I loved James Davis and CJ Spiller. This year I like Miami (Fl) because I like Jacory Harris, Oregon for the offense, etc.

....do you like the Black Knights from West point too?. What about Paul Johnson's Georgia Tech? Same base offense. Air Force also runs a form of it but they include more of a spread base.

Tennessee - went there for a semester (Johnny Majors era, when UT was kinda weak in football)
Western Kentucky (Son OF Cat Food was a student there when they were still 1-AA - going to games there was actually fun)
For some reason, I've always liked Oregon State - it's kind of the working-man's university in tandem with ultra-Yuppie Oregon).

Nebraska, a close friend went to Mizzou and in football their biggest rival is Nebraska. It started as a joke but then when Bo Pelini went there I started to cheer for them. Like someone said, it will probably change next year.

Oregon, my step Dad's cousin was the former President of the entire university and now he is/was the dean of the law school.

Cincy, their games are usually entertaining

Yeah, but Navy is the local team in the DC area, so I catch more of their games.
I love GT as well for Johnson.
But, I also root for those teams.

Gottcha. That makes sense.

My son and I have been attending one Navy gamer per year. I'll remember to send you a note this year and maybe your scheduled will allow you to join us.


Sometimes we go to an away game if it's within driving distance from Ohio but there's nothing like attending a game in Annapolis. It's just different than anywhere else I've ever been.

We usually drive in on Saturday and stay over and attend Service in the Chapel on the yard.
