ytownfootball;473894 wrote:Yeah, you could, but I don't think Pryor had nearly as many picks as Harris did last season (to lazy to check). Harris has made huge mistakes under pressure, Pryor has made defenses pay. He's chucked a few up for grabs, one last week that didn't hurt him, but I feel pretty confident in our O lone.
I could be wrong, but the only fumble I can recall in a key situation was against PSU....and I'm not putting that game on Pryor. Lots of things went into that L.LHSGUY35;473932 wrote:Pryor makes key mistakes too. A QB who rushes the ball in prone to fumbles and Pryor has shown he does fumble the football in key situations. Pryor is also prone to Interceptions. Jacory threw 17 picks in 406 attempts last season, Pryor 11 in 295. But the one big thing is, the Canes had a harder schedule then the Buckeyes did last season, so he had to be more of a play maker. But yes Jacory does try to force too many passes, but when he's on, he's better than anyone in the country.

The difference between Pryor and Harris is that Pryor limited the turnovers as the season progressed against better competition. Harris had 7 INT's in the last half of the season while Pryor only had 3. Pryor was able to go against good competition, limit his turnovers, and in the Rose Bowl take over to win the game. Harris hasn't shown that ability against good defenses yet.

Then add on Oklahoma off a National Championship birth. Va Tech was better than Penn State last season, Georgia Tech won the ACC, Clemson has one of the best players in college football last season. Miami had a tougher schedule, the meat of it was early on when FSU was 100% healthy too.

Not to mention that Wisconsin, who was rolled by OSU, beat the Canes and Harris looked like garbage.
OLine or not, Harris played worse against lesser competition in the later portion of the year.
