Any guys who's had a live in GF or wife has to put up with her crap for those few days, so we shouldn't have to "STFU".
We don't go through the pain/bloating, but we go through the abuse.

There's nothing like getting yelled at for locking the back door (Happened last night and the wife is raging)
*Note: I'm literally talking about the back door to our house. I got home and forgot to unlock it. She came in about 2 hours later pissed because it was locked. At least I left the back porch light on, so she could see.

And men have their mood swings and women have to take the abuse.jmog;470296 wrote:Any guys who's had a live in GF or wife has to put up with her crap for those few days, so we shouldn't have to "STFU".

Plus, all women don't act differently while on their period. Like I said...I'm lucky and don't have pain, etc. so my mood doesn't change at all. But it still sucks bleeding out for 4 days.

Even though I noted that I wasn't meaning the butt, I will say a quote from Ron White. "Just because the roller coaster is broken down, doesn't mean the whole park is closed; the log ride should still be open." I always liked that play on words...it just sounds dirty.

My bad, I didn't see your "note" when I quoted.

1. Statistically the average man doesn't have near the "mood swings" that a woman does, especially when Aunt Flow comes along. Its comparing apples to oranges. Its like saying that some female athletes are really good and better than a lot of men, so therefore women are just as good at sports on average. Some women are really good, but the best women don't matchup with the best men in sports. Its just a fact. While some men are very moody, on average men aren't near as moody as women, especially during that time of the month.
2. Agreed, not all women "act differently", but again, we are talking about "on average" here, not single cases.

I'm a lucky man in "that" respect, when the roller coaster is broken down, the whole amusement park is not closed at my house.

Well, at least women have an excuse. You try shedding the temporary lining of your uterus every month. It's not fun and at times very painful. We have every right to be a little grumpy.
How many of you guys have an excuse for being assholes all month long???

I would trade pain/bloating for the abuse.

It's also like comparing apples to oranges when discussing what men have to put up with that week versus what women put up with. That's why I generally don't have much sympathy for guys whining about it.

Agreed, good analogy. Another example would be a woman's expertise in the kitchen.jmog;470386 wrote:1. It's my understanding that the hormonal fluctuations and imbalances are what trigger mood changes.Fab4Runner;470359 wrote:... Like I said...I'm lucky and don't have pain, etc. so my mood doesn't change at all....

Yes, and being in extreme pain may also cause someone to be a bit moody would it not?

The funny thing about women....here's a biological explanation. When referring to pain, women tend to jump the gun comparing their pain with men. "Well, men wouldn't be able to handle child birth, that's why only women can do it blah blah blah." Although that is true, during the child birthing process, women secrete hormones and chemicals that make pain much more tolerable. However, when women arn't pregnant or giving birth, they have a lower pain tolerance than men. Additionally, women tend to be more vocal about pain and body issues, which is why they make up a much higher percentage of doctor's visits. The combination of being more vocal about pain, and having a lower pain tolerance than men, make this sugarplumfairy not very sympathetic with periods. Grow up and deal with it. "Extreme Pain?" Please. When me and Adam Lambert rendezvous, now that's extreme pain!Fab4Runner;470486 wrote:Yes, and being in extreme pain may also cause someone to be a bit moody would it not?

If the guy is an asshole all month long and you are still with him, who's the retarded one?
I never said women didn't have a good excuse for being grouchy, just said that its funny that supposedly guys aren't aloud to complain when we have to put up with the "grouchy".
