win the MAC?

All this talk about ND getting into the Big Ten is nonsense. ND really should look towards joining the MAC where they might have a fighting chance of winning the conference and going to a bowl game that they will lose.

It's a perfect fit, especially for a team who pulls in top recruits, top coaches, and still their best 'win' in the past 20 years is a close loss to USC.

Good luck to ND this year, you have another coach who has proven NOTHING(zero bowl wins) and will be given a 10 year extension only to be let go 2 seasons later.

Never. Impossible. I mean, their only bowl win since 1994 was against a depleted 6-6 WAC team. Notre Dame will stink for the rest of time.

I voted yes.

Also, Kelly is 2-1 in bowls.

Would be 3-2, but didn't coach the win at Central after he left, and the loss to Florida last year.

When I say bowls, I mean BCS bowls. The other bowls are pathetic and no one but little johnny's parents care about.

If BK coaches that Cinci team in his bowl game(instead of abandoning them like ya know, a true Catholic) he'd be 0-1.

Oh, THAT MAC. I thought we were talking about the likes of Coldwater (who would destroy ND). ND wouldn't win a game in the college MAC. And you can take that to your local credit union.

I ran a potential Ohio U-ND match-up through a very complex and accurate computer system and OU went 100-0 with the average margin of victory being 44-7. As opposed to their game with OU, where it was only 84-16 in favor of the Bobcats with the score averaging out to be 21-17.

That doesn't bode well for ND in the MAC.

I clicked yes before I read the thread.

I, too, thought we were talking about the high school MAC. They are depleted this year, so ND could take them.

As far as college conferences, ND could not win any conference except for MAYBE the Great West in FCS. Other than that, there is a reason why ND is independent and it's because they cannot win any conference ever and should probably just quit playing football altogether.

With the talent they have....they SHOULD...easily.

But I honestly don't think they would breeze to the title....they would have a few struggles.
