One thing my mom was proud of was the respect for the area. She said she couldn't believe how clean it was. People weren't just throwing their trash on the ground and stuff.

I am not a Glenn Beck fan and I didn't watch his rally. I did, however, watch his show on Monday and Tuesday just to see how he would answer his post rally critics.Based on the video and audio evidence he presented ,his rally was not all like it was being characterized by the liberal media.
There were no nasty signs. The crowd was predominantly white, but there were people of color in attendance and on the dais. The crowd was not a bunch of angry, old white men.The crowd was respectful(they left the grounds in pristine condition), concerned, and included any and all age groups.
I don't know if Beck accomplished his goal, but I don't think he did anything wrong.

In all fairness to that event (which I went to). 1. The crowd was 2-3 times larger. 2. The crowd was there much, much longer, a few hours, from early dawn till afternoon. 3. There were vendors serving drinks. 4. Most of the trashcans were full by the time the event ended, so in any group dynamics fashion, once one person dumps something on the ground, the whole groups follows. Now saying it is right, but just group dynamics.
But, yeah, it was bad and the Park Service got some flak for not putting more trash cans around the areas and people for not cleaning up after themselves.

Someone else will get it. That's the attitude of these people. When I have something to throw away and the garbage is full I don't throw it on the ground and blame speedway for not emptying the trash. I hold it till the next trash can. Then again I have a job and have to pay my mortgage, car payment, and health insurance.

Yeah, that's it. Everyone with more left political views than you guys obviously want someone else to do everything for them.
It doesn't make it right but anytime there is a large group of people stuff gets thrown on the ground. I don't care if it's Tea Partiers or Obama supporters. Hell, most fairs have a pretty conservative customer base and there is trash everywhere.
A good thing about the Beck rally is that I heard of no violence. Which is always great when there are that many people.

Yeah, I don't know what came over me.
What I meant to say was that there was blood running in the streets and this crazy old white guys were murdering homeless people and anyone they saw trying to use foodstamps.
