Weis is such an arrogant dickhead..I wish a fan would have sucker punched him during the press conference.

"we're talking about Stanford"
If I were there I'd be like yeah we WERE talking Stanford, until we just found out that your starting quarterback just got punched in the face...I think that deems it necessary to switch subjects!

he was already going to the nfl before this tard. neat little thought though....

How do you think Tressel would have handled the question? I don't remember exactly but I'm willing to bet he made a similar statement when asked about Antonio Henton being arrested for soliciting a prostitute for $19. Weis has said repeatedly that he is only concerned about his team and the upcoming game.

Are you serious? Why are you bringing up Ohio State? My comment was not meant to degrade Notre Dame or its members at all, ask anyone on here I'm not someone who hates on ND. All I am saying, is if a player on my team was suckerpunched, I would want to know how he's doing, and I would EXPECT my coach to at least tell me he's alright in the press conference. It's not like they were asking him to give a 10 minute description of the situation, just wanted to know how Claussen was doing...a simple "he's doing fine" would have sufficed.

But no, Weis had to be hi arrogant self and say "we're talking about Stanford"

Oh and by the way, Henton made a stupid mistake and it was all on him...Claussen was sucker punched, he did nothing wrong, there is no fault on him...so nice retarded comparison there.

How do you know Clausen did nothing wrong? What if Clausen called this guy's girlfriend a bad word? I'd certainly punch him in the face if that happened to me, whether somebody considered it a "sucker punch" or not.

Weis is a man without a job,so he's very irritable--but this is no reason to ignore a question that pertains to his team...man,ND Nation HAS to be excited to get rid of this arrogant clown!!!

Story's been blown out of proportion and isn't even worth the headline espn made. I know the guy who punched him (along with his sister) and he's friends with and has had a lot of the football players over to his condo. Nothing really to see here, Jimmy should've backed off when the guy warned him.

There is a rumor going around that Clausen's sister got hit a couple weeks ago as well.

not only is this sad for notre dame, but the ramifications of this getting blown out of proportion like it has by the media, could be problematic for many high profile schools

how many idiots would love to make the espn front page headlines for punching the starting quarterback at florida, texas, ohio state, etc?

The word over on Rock's House (NDNation message board) is that both were a little drunk, Clausen overstepped his bounds and the guy let him have it. Don't know if that's the truth or not, but sounds a bit different than the picture the media is painting.

Same here, I'm just saying what they're talking about over on Rock's House, some even claim to have been there (which is debateable). Might be true or it might not. But the fact that charges haven't been filed gives the story at least some consideration.
