He is top 3 PG in the league. I think most Cavs fans will agree. Just because we don't say that in every post doesn't mean we aren't high on him.

second, really its not Iverson? (insert rollling eyes)

third, after ^^^^ I'm not sure I have the mental capacity to make a logical/sensible post about why I feel the way I do. Critical thinking is hard. It's easier to just pull thoughts out of my ass with no rhyme or reason and not have to defend myself.
Fixed, except I didn't type it out like a moron like you would have.

Yeah kind of surprising that Rondo wasn't getting much PT, however I can understand I guess (I mean I would have been playing him more). Rondo isn't a good free throw shooter, nor is he a great shooter. Both of which are almost required in the international game.

This team has waaaaay too many PGs though. I was surprised when I saw the remaining guards on the team. That being said I've got to snicker at Cleveland fans mocking Rondo. How soon we forget...

Not sure that anybody said that Cleveland fans were. Mainly pointing out that they seem to be taking extra satisfaction in Rondo's situation with USA.

No ones mocking Rondo you fucking tard...the only reason Cleveland is brought up in this convo is because of retard Cleveland-haters like you who are bringing them into this. We are saying all of this shit because of his coward tactics, not because of his relationship to Cleveland.

Look at any of the Lakers-Celtics games during crunch time for your answer on why Rondo isn't a good international point guard, and at this point, has become overrated. Top 3? Please.

I'd take Williams, Paul, and Rose over Rondo, but the website linked below lists him at #1.

Id take Rondo over Rose in a second, thats not to say that Rose is a bad player. Better defender, better passer, better decision maker. Less athletic and explosive though

Well we just clownstomped Greece today. The announcers said Greece wasn't trying, but whatever. If our "not trying" slaps the shit out of their's, I can't imagine what will happen when we "try." I watched the first half and I just couldn't get over how much the commentators talked up Greece. They were like "oooh, this team is sooo good and deep. You see, they have this really good giant white boy center who is injured right now, but he's their third string center; that's how deep they are OMG!" Well if he's their third string center, he can't be that great because their first and second string centers were getting owned by a team without centers. This Greece team is no different from any other Euro team that USA will face. They're just a bunch of white guys that rely of fundamentals to win, and they're left tying their shoes after Derrick Rose and Russel Westbrook blow by their slow asses. Fundamentals are a crutch for lack of talent. If that's the best team we have to face, we got this in the bag.

Really because we took one of our best teams in years to the Olympics and squeaked out a win against "a bunch of white guys."

If I remember correctly, it took a 4-point play by Kobe with less than 2 minutes remaining to win the game against Spain's white guys.

+1

Get ready for the "you can't disagree with Cleveland fans, because they are sensitive" argument.

We played that team (Spain) twice in the Olympics and beat them by a combined total of 48 points. I never said they were bad (I said Greece was bad); they are the next best team, no matter what other "experts" say. But there is still a huge gap between them and Team USA. And they literally are a bunch of white guys, that's a fact. And they are not as good as Team USA, that's a fact. Too many people talk these teams up and overrate them, so people will think we accomplished something big when we beat them. Not that we shouldn't be satisfied, but we have the best team, we are expected to win.

Team USA squeaked out a 70-68 win over Brazil, a team that played without injured big man, Anderson Varejao.Brazil had a couple of opportunities to force the game into OT, but fumbled the ball away. Kevin Durant led the Americans with 27 points. Chauncey Billups chipped in with 15 points.Team USA did not utilize it's bench. Rose, Durant, and Billups each played more than 30 minutes, with Durant staying on the court for all but 26 seconds.Andre Igoudala played over 29 minutes, while Steph Curry and Danny Granger got zero time.

I don't know what you guys are expecting. Do you guys not follow basketball or am I missing something?

The days of USA blowing everybody out by 40 and not using TO's the entire tournament are over. Those will never happen again.

Teams like Greece, Spain, Brazil, etc. etc. ... they're good. The game of basketball is truly an international game now.

There are a lot of teams that can beat the US any game if the US doesn't bring their A-Game, as proven by the US-Brazil game.
