I know I'm late but damnit Homer...how the hell can you be this phenom and spend all the time in the minors and some in the majors and not know what the hell is going on???

A 1-2 count on a pitcher trying to bunt and on the previous pitch you throw the nastiest curveball of your life to completely buckle the pitcher and then throw the next pitch straight and 90 mph over the plate?????? YOU THROW THE NEXT PITCH 94-96 MPH UP AND IN.....who doesn't know that???? You go up and in...he shits himself for a 2nd straight pitch and it doesn't matter what you throw next...he's toast. Unnacceptable.

he also double pumped on that suicide squeeze play, which cost him a run.

Brandon Phillips finally learned a lesson from being humbled.

Tonight he said the right things pregame and is getting it done on the field....THAT is what the Reds need and THAT will take him where he wants to be...his mouth nor his flair will not.

Awful call but Eric Gregg made no less than 25 calls worse than that in the NLCS in 1997 with Livan Hernandez striking out 15 or 16 versus the Braves....insane

Most likely to see 100 years of age:

Vin Scully
Bob Barker
Betty White

I'm going with Barker who must be about 86 or so and still quite fit...but Scully hasn't aged much at all since he was announcing NBC games with Joe Garigiola on Saturdays in the early 80s. Scully is 83.

Betty is 88 I believe and holding up pretty well.

Betty, she seems to be in better shape than most 70 yr olds. Plus she's got the female thing going for her.

Interesting find I had the other day......I knew this but forgot about it.

My son and I were going through some of my old baseball cards the other night and were in my multiple boxes of 1987 topps......I pull out a cluster of Oakland A's cards.......I pulled out one of the many Tony LaRussa manager cards...and then was reminded that one of his players was none other than Dusty Baker......also in that box of 1987's beside Dusty and LaRussa was Sparky Anderson, Pete Rose, Lou Pinella, Davey Johnson, Ray Knight, Bob Boone, Jerry Narron....and of course Brook Jacoby, Chris Speir and Billy Hatcher. Good times....oh and creeper Chris Welsh had his final card as a member of the Reds and MLB baseball.

Looks to me like Rolen is choking up a bit more than he has been all season

Votto is going to be with Cabrera if he keeps swinging like that.

Good God Keels gets the pup tent everytime a player has a hit streak of greater than 2 games

I would never even mention a hit streak under double digits in length
