I think that Massillon should have established the run last night before going to the air, let the kid hand the ball off to Winters, Reiman and Nalbach, get his feet wet and then slowly work him in. Of the 6 int's, i'd say that only three of them are directly on Brody's shoulders, you can't start a sophomore at Massillon and let him throw the ball 35 times in his first game, just can't be done, Brody's final numbers are 16 of 35 for 211 yds and a td, with the 6 int's. I think overall, that Massillons D played pretty well last night 14 of their points came directly off of the kick ret. and the int ret for a td. The others were set up by giving buchtel a short field all night. Massillon's DB's picked off Jones last night 3 times. One of the few bright spots last night was the play of CB Tyler Allman, breaking up several passes to taller recievers.
This whippin that Buchtel put on us last night just may be the best thing that could happen. Time will tell.
Thanks for the kind words from guys like NWIndianNation01 & Tusky97, to the guys like Viking and Paladin, who just have to put their "paper" digs in, I sure would like to meet you....up close and personal. Maybe someday.
I'll be in Paper Title Town to watch Firestone run all over the Tigers. Give me a holla if you want. I'll let you buy me a couple of pops.
