First loss since Lancaster beat us in 2007. First loss at Chieftain Stadium. But perhaps they can learn from this and better themselves for the rest of the season! Still have the consecutive SEOAL wins streak and 6 straight league titles to defend!

Indeed. They were in position to make this a good game or perhaps eek at a win. They simply didn't rap up on defense--with a couple of exceptions they were in great position defensively, they simply didn't rap up when they tried to tackle. I believe the offense will be potent enough to compete in the SEOAL. I think my earlier prediction of 6-4 still looks good, but that us assuming a win over Reynoldsburg (which I'm not as confident about now).

I did like the fact that they didn't roll over when it started to become clear that Lancaster was going to win. If that touchdown pass doesn't get called back, they would've been only down 23-17 going into the 4th qtr. and momentum on our side. That penalty along with the other 12 that we had really killed us. I guess the phrase "growing pains" come to mind.
