Back to topic. As for the teams who are being mentioned as "contenders":

Jets: Too many egos, Revis hasnt signed yet, definitely not sold on sanchez, and most people forget this team barely made the playoffs last year and at one point looked like complete shit during the season.

Ravens: Aging defense

Patriots: Not sold on Brady being the same. Same with Welker being 100%.

Bengals (i dont really consider them contenders, but a lot of posters here are handing them the SB after the TO signing): TO isnt the answer, I don't see Cedric repeating his performance, and they won 6 games that came down to the final play last year... Their season could have easily been a losing season.

Chargers: Choke artists

Saints: SB hangover, i dont see them creating as many turnovers, and everything just seemed to go their way last year. I don't see that happening this year.

Packers: They better fix their defense because Jake Delhome and Seneca Wallace walked all over them.

Cowboys: See Jets and egos and hosting the SB= bad luck.

Vikings: Can Brett Favre's old ass really repeat his performance from last year?
