I think this will just be a game that continues the trend of FF boys dominance over Waterford boys.Football game was 35-6 and the basketball games will be much worse.Fort Frye JV played Waterford varsity this summer and beat them up pretty bad.Waterford lost its top 6 players and only return both jv and varsity players.Fort Frye did lose Thieman,Stevens,Warren,and Arnold but bring up 6 players from 17-2 JV team.I think it will be the last year the Waterford girls beat the FF girls as well.The FF girls will be with its top players in Liz Dyar and Sammie Hanson.

Probable Waterford varsity Starters- Levi McCutcheon Jr,Levi Porter Jr,Jake Biedel Sr,Taylor Pottmeyer Sr, Jeffy Mccutheon Jr Bench-Miller and Chad Offenberger

Fort Frye Starters- Jarid Bates SR,Cory Gerber SR,Donald Hilverding Jr,Garrett Legrean Jr,Zach Huck Sr Bench- Coty Adams Sr Ryan Mincks Sr Kyle Brooker Jr Matt Klinger Jr OUT- Eddie Watson out for a month after gettting knee surgury.

Fort Frye Jv is on their way to another 17-2 season with the talent they have.

A trend of dominance for Fort Frye boys over Waterford boys? Surely you haven't forgotten the head-to-head record since Tom Simms took over?

kyle brooker is starting in mincks spot....if anyone watched the jv gams last year he can hit the three ball hopefully the bright lights of varsity get him nervous....

Tom is probably a fine coach and all, but he was not the key cog in The Wildcats managing to gain a split with Fort Frye last season.

Fort Frye varisty owned the Wildcats last night.Waterford 0-14 from the field and had like over 15 turnovers in 2 qts.Fort Frye showed like 5 different presses and did not even shoot well in the 24-7 win.If FF showed when they knocked down the 3 they will be special.This years team will be known for their defense.

I could see this Cadet team being a very hot/cold kind of club. On a night when lots of people are hitting from outside, they could probably play with anybody. They'll need Legraen or Bates or somebody to be able to drive the middle and draw the defense in. If so, I could see this group being like the 95-96 Cadet team.

I believe that, but the head coach gets the credit and the fact remains that since Simms has been the head coach Waterford has been winning this series (meaning the original post about FF continuing its dominance is not accurate).

It probably won't be long before the series is once again lopsided in FF's favor, though.
