Actually someone at work brought me a piece of some pumpkin cake thing a bit ago, I politely thanked them and when they left my office I put it in the trash.

Ehhh, I think part of my aversion is it's hard to find good fried calamari....too often it's soggy or tough.

Uh oh....now we might start another mayonnaise vs. Miracle Whip debate.
As for calamari, I like it broiled. Breading, iMO, ruins good meat. Like Andrew Bourdain says....don't eat buns, bread should only be used to sop up gravy and meat scraps.

I had calamari at Buca de Beppo's the other day, pretty damn good. It was cooked just right.

A regular old salad with sunflower seed, cottage cheese, smoked oysters and Italian dressing.

No. I will have to check it out. Are they still closed for vacation?

I doubt anything I eat would be considered gross....I'll eat tuna straight out of the box but many people do that. I love sushi and other raw fish but that's more of a personal preference than gross. Some of the stuff mentioned here....my lord. Cottage cheese and dressing? Each one by itself is gross. Do two wrongs truly make a right?
