Has anyone ever been to Rehoboth Beach Delaware? Thoughts/comments/opinions regarding this area?

I've been to Rehoboth twice...although in October (after the 'season').
had a blast..nice beach, nice resturants and bars......don miss the Starboard for breakfast (including the Bloddy Mary bar).

Rehoboth and Dewey are both nice beach towns. Rehoboth has a rep for being "gay friendly" and its fairly open on the beach in the evening.

I went there years ago and really enjoyed it. It isn't as fancy as the beaches further south, but I liked it better since it didn't have the huge crowds or a four-lane highway right behind the beach.
Grotto Pizza was also pretty solid.

My dad took my brother and me ocean fishing there around 1980. Funny you posted this cuz I was just looking at those pictures the other day.
