Great slide by Rolen bails out Bruce for the RBI and redeems his out on the bases in the first. Also, Rolen got a great jump on the contact play and scored even though the throw from Hanley was good.

Uggla and his 3B coach help out the Reds cause as they run into an out rounding 3rd! Good quick play by Nix.

I swear the Reds, or anyone really, could make the greatest play ever and this Keens guy would not get excited..."Phillips has it, 2 outs"

God he sucks

Never to be a gold glover Uggla shows why on the play he made on EV's mis-hit ball to lead-off the 4th.

Johnson with a sub 2 ERA with this Marlin defense behind him is nothing short of miraculous. He is charged with 6 runs and 10 hits in less than 4 innings and they are all earned.

Can't wait to bring that thread back up wehre i was arguing with lhslep, because he said the Cards have the best offense in the league because of their performance in that series...well the Reds just murked the best ERA pitcher in the NL, so by his logic we're the better offense now, right? haha

Rolen wearing out the left field corner tonight, too bad this one was just foul!

Isn't lhslep the same guy that guaranteed Thad Gibson's return at Ohio State?

well...our guys stepped up tonight

If Leake or Homer suck the rest of this series I will be ticked with Wood in the minors....I'm really having trouble letting that one go

Good game. It's a shame the season ended on Wednesday.

You gotta love when people ignore a whole season of stats and base their opinions off one series. Nothing makes me laugh more. Some people just don't understand how baseball works.

Fun game, disappointing crowd. A lot of people off the bandwagon already. Only a couple walks is a great sign for EV.

I noticed that too. It was empty last night! Could have been the opponent though. I have to think the Marlins are one of the teams who attract the least amount of interest to opposing crowds.

Yep. I'm off already. It's clearly time for football season.
