There was another phone that was supposed to be a gaming phone...I cannot remember what it was called. I think it might have been a Nokia. It was available at Gamestop, but it failed miserably. I am pretty skeptical of this idea.

Haven't been a gamer in years and years and years, but this phone intrigues me. Why not, would be fun to have a couple of shooter games, maybe a golf game, to play with here and there.
Also, because of Android you can see there's no need to cram in a bunch of extraneous buttons. While the other failed, I think this could be successful because it's a fully functional phone and should be an identical experience to other android phones (like not using the physical keyboard, if you don't slide it out it's out of sight and out of mind).
Now, whether the actual gaming experience is good enough to justify the higher price remains to be seen. But, with bluetooth and 3G this could be a strong seller.
