Has anyone used oak plywood before? If so did you stain it and did it turn out good?

Just make sure you are not getting something called "imported oak". We used that on a job once and it took stain unevenly, looked like shit and had to be replaced. Buy it from a reputable lumber yard and you should be just fine.
Another tip when you cut it make sure to use a sharp fine toothed blade to prevent the veneer from chipping.

Built a set of shelves out of oak plywood, and they look great. Stained with a cherry stain, and that gave them a rich reddish oak color. Also built a surround for a lally column in my finished basement, and it looks great as well.

Thanks. Only using it for sides for a dog ramp. Our bedroom is oak and I thought it would look nice if the sides were oak and save me a lil money using the oak plywood.

Used it numerous time in making furniture pieces. Stain just fine. Armoire....entertainment center....book shelf.
