Cordero pitches like he recently had Tommy John surgery.

Cordero pitches like Tommy John would today, and Tommy John is 67.

Thank goodness Dusty finally has the sense to get Coco out of there! That's what you call a "real save" by Masset!

Fucking awesome.

Watched this game at my place with probably 10 dudes, all cincy-haters, and I was getting so much shit...when Masset struck out Byrd, I went nuts.

Fuckin love the Reds

Dusty Baker on Aroldis Chapman after today's game:

"There were a couple of guys that were throwing the ball well and deserving -- especially [Jared] Burton and Chapman," manager Dusty Baker said. "But we needed some length. That's the one thing we were still missing in the bullpen [after] we sent Fish down. We didn't have a guy that could go three innings comfortably and a guy that could save the bullpen for the next day, and the next day. That's what he gave us when he was here before. We'll see Chapman soon enough," Baker said. "We want him to tear it up and get real comfortable."

This tell me, especially given the way Dusty uses the company line, that Chapman may be here on Monday for the start of the St. Louis series, or if Mike Leake falters Monday night, on Tuesday after Leake is put on the DL with "arm fatigue." You don't let a quote like that go if you are unsure if the guy is gonna join the team.

For anyone in the Dayton area they're showing the Dragons on Time Warner 372, a couple of good prospects playing

Thank You Paul Janish for picking up the manager that has screwed you over countlessly.

Runners at 1st and 2nd.....no outs.....late in game of tight game...Phillips batting and we all know Phillips hits into his fair share of double plays.....have Phillips bunt (for the sake of the team) and at worst you have 2nd and 3rd.....1 out and Janish up who is more than capable of producing the run from 3rd.....if Janish doesn't get it done you have the NL MVP up with 2 outs....walk him if they want and you have Rolen and the bases loaded.....but Dusty wanted his boy Phillips to be a hero and didn't trust Janish.......Phillips not only hits into the predictable DP...but injurs himself with a foul ball and had to leave the game.....so instead of worst case 2nd and 3rd 1 out.....we have 3rd base and 2 outs and our GG 2nd baseman leadoff hitter potentially hurt.....but Jansih steps up again and drives in the run to pick up Baker.

Cordero is trash.

Yeah big win for Florida. Should be a favorable pitching match-up tomorrow with Travis Wood on the hill for the Red Legs against Tom Diamond.

If my best friend (who lives in Chicago) wasn't in WI this weekend I would've been up there today. Bastard. Him, not you. Okay, you too. :)

What is your overall record? I'm 5-0 and will be going to Tuesdays game to move to 6-0.
