Best of luck to the Generals. The whole village of West Lafayette is behind you and are so very proud of what you have been able to do this season.

Here's a link.
http://www.vindy.com/blitz/teams/ursuline/

As you look at this roster, don't be influenced by the size of some of the kids. Defensively, they are small and lighting fast after a trial and error period of changes that has moved linebackers and even some running backs/QBs to defensive line positions to take advantage of their speed, strength and talents. It took a half last week to react to what Heights was doing. But once they got the right alighnment, they shut them down. We'll see how they match up this week.

Good Luck Pollywog. Git er' done!

True....so true.

At any rate c'mon Wood!

Beat Ursuline and disprove my theory that Catholic schools that make-up just 13% of OHSAA membership but somehow win 60% of state championships enjoy an Immaculate Deception! j/k

I really don't think RW winning will be proving everybody wrong. I think we're gonna find out tonight at CCC that there are more believers than we all think.

Lets go Wood, roll UYU.

Congrats to Div 1 Ursuline for making it to the Div 5 State Championship game! You must be proud!

Looking forward to witnessing Div 1 Alter pound Div 4 Coshocton in the same manner tonight....in much the same manner that Div 1 Mooney pounded Div 3 Steubenville last night.

I dunno...do you suppose Catholic schools will win their "fair" share of state titles again this season? Maybe not. Maple Heights beat Lake Catholic to also make make it to their respective state championship game.

Must have been something wrong with Lake Catholic's Wheaties and/or communion wafers.

I kid of course. Not hating on Catholics...just blowing steam.

Just for conversation, Ursuline lost to Mooney by 5 points, and I think the Irish had a TD called back late in the game, so it could have went either way. Mooney pounded Steuby last night. So I am really proud of the Wood, they hung right there with the Irish for over 1 quarter last night. You are right Believer, both teams (Mooney and Ursuline) would have a very good shot in Div I or II. Just remember, the playing field is level though.

Ursuline should be very proud of the whipping they gave last night. If only the Generals could recruit and and control the number of boys they have enrolled, they could also "win" over the rest. If a school does that, then what joy is there in winning? The system is a joke. Ridgewood has nothing to hang their heads for, they didn't give up and they have made their fans proud. Thanks for an amazing season!!
