Playing in the semi-finals as we speak. Its on 95.3, which I can't get down here. If they win, championship is at 4:30.

I guess they got some nice revenge in ther championship game, coming back to beat the only team they'd lost to in pool play, Illinois. I guess their fans were a little less than sportsmanlike, too, so it was extra nice.

Win today over Asia 14-4. Now 2-1 in pool play and have to play undefeated California in their final pool play. Almost a must win to get to the semi's.

Suffer a tough 6-3 loss to California today to finish pool play at 2-2 and miss out on making to the semi's.

I'm late getting to this party.......as a parent making the trip to Dayton for State - Columbia, MO for Regionals - Bangor, Maine for Senior World Series - it was just an unbelievable ride and a great experiance especialy for the kids ............ the memories will last a lifetime and its something money just cant buy........... the journey was as unbelievable as winning games and the time these kids got to spend together off the field, traveling through airports many for the first time and friends met from other teams across the state/region/world was pretty amazing. thanks for all the well wishes it was truly felt.

So Hesston, let me ask you a question. Do you hear at the 15-16 year old level the same as the 12's........that all the good players are playing Nations Baseball or USSSA and not sanctioned Little League??

300 ...... no I didn't really here any of that but there is great baseball in both....... I guess it just depends what is available and what the parent/kid want to do.........again both good choices. hey I believe I saw your son tearing it up both on the lanes and in football congrats!

Thanks Hesston. He's a real chip off the old Booferbowler. :) The lanes are his ticket in college if he stays with it, but until then he'll continue to play football, as it's his real love, and baseball.
