Hanson vs Volquez

Volquez needs to get back to the way he pitched in his first outing as soon as possible or it'll be a rough final two months of the season. Hopefully Stubbs gets the day off today and Heisey get the start in centerfield. Hopefully there isn't a save situation and Cordero is not needed again today.

I guess August is here and we are in a dog fight. It's really simple. We need to win as many as we can, anyway we can. If at the end of August we are where we are now, I think we win the division. The Western trip will decide a lot for this edition of the Reds.

I should have paid the $200 and stayed for todays game or at least sat outside us bank arena with a cup for change all night. I feel like I got run over by bus.

Braves need to cash in runs. They have left A LOT of people on base and should have had a couple big innings. Only scoring 2 runs yesterday was pathetic. Glaus needs to be DFA'd. Hopefully Ankiel and Farnsworth made it to town last night and Ankiel is in center field today...

Why would game not be shown in HD? The guide has the game listed but all I get is a blue screen.

Reds making Hanson look like a All-Star .... But then again it's Sunday and the Reds are 6-10 on Sundays w/ 6 Shutouts so it's just normal for them

He'd be the #3 or #4, IMO. #5 if Volquez returns to form.

I'd take Cueto and Arroyo over him for sure. Possibly Leake.

Actually, you're right. I'd take a DL Bailey and Harang over him. He's easily the worst pitcher on the planet.

Bad news for the Phillies, Ryan Howard leaves after the 1st inning after hitting second base weird and spraining his ankle. He left the game.
