I feel magic from Stubbs.

The meeting on the mound between McCann and Wagner.

Avoid a FB to Stubbs because he COULD hit it 450 feet.

Most likely a K though. That's what Stubbs does best.

Does Stubbs get a fastball on 3-2?

He won't hit a FB out.

Only chance Stubbs ties it is if Wagner hangs a slider.

One fastball 3-2 to Stubbs to set-up the 6th slider of the AB for the final out! Great competetive game to watch, but unfortunately it didn't go the Reds way!

I agree it was a great game. Easy to see why these two teams are leading their divisions.

Did they both show the whole ball outside the whole box like it needs to be to be properly called a ball?

Yes. The 0-1 was closer but it was still outside the box. Like I said, I've seen pitches more off the plate than each of them called strikes. Could have gone either way.

hang that one on Dingle baker. Not pinch hitting for Bruce in the 8th. 1 out, lefty lefty matchup, winning run at 3rd. Sack up and make the switch. Then to top it off, he defensive switches Bruce in the next inning for Heisey, who should have pinch hit for Bruce anyway.

After seeing that blunder I wonder how Dusty has a job still.

He then lets Cordero run out for a 6 inning outing. WTF? Does Dusty have any clue about what is likely going to happen. Walk walk blooper. Ball game.

This one was on you Dusty. Don't blame Cordero, he pitched well enough. He proved many times over he isnt good in more than just save situations, yet Dusty ran him out anyway.

I'll blame whoever I feel like. He has been nothing short of god awful this year, yet he is somehow a professional closer.

Stubbs is a waste of fucking existence.

And putting Cordero in in the 10th was like a death wish. Baker continues to make bad decisions and he is solely to fault at Cordero running out there. Its not likely Cordero called up the dugout and begged.

It was a playoff atmosphere all-around....except for the Reds manager.

Orlando Cabrera at 2-0 in the 9th with 2 outs that pitch from a good angle in my shallow OF seats looked too high...nothing like that had been called all game...the 2-1 pitch (which woulod've been 3-0 looked good enough....but 3-1 and 2-2 are quite different.....then the ump follows Cabrera towards SS after the AB/Inning....next half ump doesn't call pitches on Braves and Cabrera is fire hot at SS kicking dirt everywhere and throwing arms up in disgust.

Heyward is a beast.....I was yelling, no no when Rolen tagged on the ball to RF kinda down the line and medium deep and that ball went about 300 feet in about 1 1/2 seconds and beat Rolen by a mile but was offline enough.....there aren't any arms better than that...no way

Scott Rolen tried bunting with no one on in the 10th......no one thought of that....he's the best team player ever....he just gets it

Votto is so locked in
