Great job by Bray to get out of it. Failed to get a strike with only one of seven sliders to the two lefties and pitched very carefully to Chipper and ended up walking him to face MCann and got him to ground out weakly for the 3rd out.

Will Dusty blindly pitch Rhodes in a preconceived inning, or use him to face the same three as Bray did?

Phillies cut the lead to 5-1... On a solo HR by Jayson Werth. Phillies have a runner at 1st with one out. Nationals are doing a pitching change.

Are the phils done making trades? So far so good. ;)

You can thank me for that I turned it on right as Votta crushed it.

Kudos to Dusty as Rhodes comes in to face Heyward, same spot in the order that Bray came in, but with the bases empty and two out. He misses with a 2 strike fastball about a foot toward the middle of the plate where he was aiming and gave up another double. But he gets Chipper to end the inning. So if the Reds don't get down to Aurthur's spot in the order in the eighth, will Dusty leave Aurthur in to face McCann? If the Reds happen to take the lead, will he still have Rhodes face McCann before he goes to Coco for the save?

Rolen's successful Bravado goes for naught as Bruce Ks! Did Rolen aggravate his hamstring on the sprint to 3rd.

Nice ballpark. Votto's can o' corn scrapes the back of the wall. No wonder he is putting up the numbers he is.

Rhodes makes only one mistake in his three batters, the double to Heyward, but it doesn't cost a run, and it is to Coco to get two outs in this inning and maybe some more in the 10th.

Heisey > Nix on balls hit to the wall by Conrad! A way more difficult catch for Heisey than Nix failed at.

Nice catch but that ball traveled 32 feet farther than Votto's.

Also as a side effect of that catch, I lose all my vCash because Wagner doesn't enter the game.

Not that I doubted you at all, but I looked up the splits. His average is 45 points higher on the road but he has more HR's and RBI at home. (SHOCKER)
