'Nuff said.
By your logic, Harrell should have won '08 Heisman because he threw for 5100 yards, despite throwing 140 more times than Bradford but only had 400 more yards.
Terribly flawed logic.
I'm not denying Gerhart had a beast year, I had both him and Ingram on my fantasy college team, I've loved Gerhart since taking Stanford to the national championship in NCAA '09. All I'm saying is that Ingram was clearly better, judging by the per touch numbers and quality of competition.
Ya but Toby had to carry the ball 25 times a game. Stanford didn't have the weapons that Bama had. Everyone keyed on Toby and he still rushed for 100 in every game except 2 and scored a rushing TD every game except 1. Take out a couple of games where Ingram rushed the ball 8 times for 91 yards 11.4 per carry against North Texas or 11 carries 102 yards 9.3 per carry, his average is way down.
Toby Only 2 games rushing without 100 Yards, and 1 game without scoring a touchdown
Mark 5 games rushing without 100 Yards, and 3 games without a rushing touchdown
I do see your point about the SEC but I still think Toby had a better year.
