This very topic came up in my business law class at OSU several years ago. A student asked the professor if he could chase down someone who was trying to break into house and beat the crap out of them. I only remember the professor giving a half response about it depending on a number of factors. The only reason I remember this question being asked, is because the student who asked it was Bobby Carpenter. I would not want him chasing me down if I was neighborhood punk.

Just do the same thing us rednecks in West Columbus do - shoot and kill the little !@#$#@s. Happened twice in less than a year to kids egging cars on West Broad Street.

Who gets caught while DDDing??? If you get chased down DDDing then you deserve to be bloodied....

Lame.....We used to shoot bottle rockets at cars...Now THAT will get you a good chase, especially with the convertibles.

Kinda reminds me of the movie "Felon". Pretty good movie with Stephen Dorf and Val Kilmer.
