I find it kinda varies, just like any name really. I know two female Sam's, one is very good looking and the other one is not so much. I know a smokin hot chick that goes by Joey, and she is the hottest girl I know. I know an Alex who is cute but definately not unusually hot...and I know two female Ryans and neither one is all that attractive (both were good athletes but not much on looks lol).

I know a Barbi who is a 6' 200+ bull dyke (not that there's anything wrong with that) but definitely NOT a hotty.

Gotcha. The way I read your original post made it sound as though you were saying the name Erin/Aaron, regardless of spelling, was more of a feminine name than masculine.

I noticed a couple of you commenting on girls named Kyle. I had the pleasure of talking to one of my former athletes as she has been hired as a track and cross-country coach and wanted to ask me some questions, so we sat in the local coffee shop and talked about sports and how things have been going with her and so forth. the point here is that this girl is really a sweetheart and a very attractive young lady.

I've always considered both of those to be female names that guys also have. Maybe it's just because I've known far more women with those names than men.
