2 checking accounts, 2 credit cards, 1 savings account and a loan will not connect.

Awesome site.

Be sure that the security questions you enter in are the same. I had some issues with our mortgage, I believe, and it was because of security questions. We currently have all of our accounts set up on there with no issues. Between loan accounts, savings accounts, checking accounts, and investment accounts we've got 18 on there.

If you enter a security question wrong, it informs you.

It wasn't that they were entered wrong, it's that it required you to enter an answer for every single option on the bank site and mint. Like the bank site required 3, but had 10 options to choose from. I had to go in and fill in answers for the remaining 7. It was over a year ago so I don't remember exactly what I had to do but it was something weird like that.

I only had to answer 1 for my BofA account. For the other accounts they didn't even ask for an answer to a security question.

I keep getting, "having trouble connecting, please try again at a later time", or something like that.

I didn't read through but this might help. It appears to be a common issue with BofA that they are possibly working on.

I finally got my accounts added tonight. About time.

Checking account
Savings account
Credit card account
Mortgage loan / Home value
Car value (paid off)
Roth IRA account

The only thing I couldn't get was my Sallie Mae student loan account to connect. This looks pretty sweet. I haven't set up a budget (yet), but I'm already getting messages that I exceeded my budget in certain areas. Haha! This could be pretty sweet!

Look at the trends section. It has awesome graphs that tell you what you're spending and where.

Very cool! Oh, this is wonderful. I love the "Net Income". This would be awesome. I can see EXACTLY how much I've saved each month. This is perfect.

You can even click on the different parts of the pie graph and it will break it down further into what retailers you spent at within that section.

I just did that. I clicked on a part of the graph, and it broke that down. Then clicked on those, and it broke them down... Very, very cool! I'm spreading the word about this web site.

We started using Mint a few weeks ago. Previously, we had tracked things locally via MoneyDance, which we liked. It's just tough when you have a million different accounts--Mint simplifies the data gathering. It's still lacking important features we'd like to see (total interest expense by auto-amortizing loans, giving us quarterly spending reports, etc.), but on the whole, it's pretty nice and convenient.

I was able to set up all my accounts, with the exception of my 401k, pretty quickly today. Great site, something I've been needing to do for awhile.

Pretty sweet site... a lot better than using an excel spreedsheet although I will still probably keep doing that.

Pitman I also have had trouble with my Sallie Mae account. I gave up after about 3 tries haha.

Hmm. I didn't even think about my 401k. I'll be syncing that tonight!

No offense, but I'm glad I'm not the only one. Haha!

Finally got all of my accounts working on here, minus my student loan. Mint still has some issues with Great Lakes accounts.
