They are both solid but neither has that WOW factor. Pretty even match-up. Should be a tough low scoring game. Elder is way over hyped even after getting beat twice this year. Glenville is the team to beat should Davidson get past Elder. Can't see Massillon getting past them although Glenville has a Jekyl and Hyde reputation.

I've seen Davidson's last 4 games. They are peaking at the right time. Their "D" totally dominated Coffman last night. I expect a win next Saturday.

I just watched a clip from Desalles Elder earlier this year, and Elder looks just a wee bit pourous up the middle, gave up alot of yards to a DIII school, and this past weekend it was reported they gave up 350 yards rushing to Anderson, a school that just moved up from DII. I know it doesn't mean anything, I'm just sayin. http://www.bliptv/file/2732048 Let's get some OCC fans to Dayton and support HD, I know most of you hate em, but they're hometown boys, you know Cinci will have the place rockin, plus it should be a good game and it's not all that far away. Those darn dots........ I told you I wasn't very computer smart, i'm tryin to figure out the avatar thing, haven't yet. The team and coaches have to be licking their chops to get our O on the field against these guys. From what I saw from the Desalles game anyway. Haven't looked at the you tube stuff yet. I like Davidson the more I research Elder.
Elder's passing atack scares me a bit, but I think HD will keep them off the field. I don't think Elder will be able to consistently stop HD.
One mistake by Elder will seal their fate.
That's the way Davidson plays ball.
Go HD slam those arrogant yapsters!

Desales had a great chance vs. Elder and just turned it over a few times, something Davidson likely won't do. That being said, Elder has a very good senior quarterback and runs the spread well. Coffman did miss a few open receivers, not enough to win them the game though, so I don't see Elder having a big advantage there, though there is one. If Davidson simply plays their game like they did last week, they could win. It won't be easy but I don't see why not.
