Sounds like big trouble. You're going to need plenty of legal advice before this thing is over. As your attorney, I advise you to rent a very fast car with no top. And you'll need the cocaine. Tape recorder for special music. Acapulco shirts. Get the hell out of L.A. for at least 48 hours. Blows my weekend.

Wrong - an upper decking was definitely the right move

hahah I cannot possibly tell you how many times I wished I'd have gotten obliterated and passed out.
As for the spilling of the water. It's actually pretty funny. Basically it was "Hey if I say it was you, you'll leave tomorrow and he'll never see you again. He's my buddy and my roommate and that'd ruin the rest of my friendship," so I was a nice guy and accepted it. As for you guys saying you'd fight the culprit, probably. But I'm 6'2 220lbs and was wrestling his drunk buddies for entertainment earlier that night. He wasn't going to come near me trust me.

I got hit with underage at 18. I wasn't driving though..
All I got hit with in court was a fine and a diversion program, in which if I completed would erase the underage charge off my record.

You should send the police officer a thank you note. He very well may have saved your life that night.

1. Did you ever mention which college you were at? You mentioned a few different places and I can't remember if you ever mentioned where, exactly. Just let me know, because the place sounds like a shithole, especially with the dumbfucks you were partying with. Was it Toledo? That was your first mistake if so.
2. Like most everyone else is saying, you pretty much fucked up when you got in the car and drove. Obviously you weren't drunk, but you had enough alcohol in your system to get you in trouble. You know what the biggest redflag is? That not only did you choose to drink/drive, but you then immediately broke the law. That's what I don't understand. If you're under the age but have been drinking, you're in a town that's celebrating graduation and everyone and their brother (literally) is out drinking, so you know the cops won't be far behind -- why give them any reason to pull you over? I'm not perfect - I've driven a few miles from a friends house to mine after drinking (I don't think I've ever been drunk that I wasn't sure of what I was doing when I did drive) but when I got behind the wheel I made sure to stop completely at signs/lights, use turn signals, and NOT SPEED. Doesn't make me any less of an idiot, but unless I hit a checkpoint, cops left me alone because I wasn't doing anything wrong (that they could see at least). You can't say the same because you were going 10mph over. That won't always get you in trouble, but consider the circumstances, I'm not surprised especially since this cop is such a hardass.
This cop fucked you good, as it seems everyone on here has their stories of getting off way easier than you did - but, you're the one who made the mistake. I don't understand what you were saying about being on probation and not allowed to be around alcohol for a year. Like if you get caught at a bar it'll be 30 days in jail? What do you mean by 'caught'? Caught by who? If a cop comes into a bar and starts inspecting people and stumbles onto you, would you be caught?

If your in Columbus contact Ben Luftman to be your lawyer. Most of the times in these cases lawyers work these cases year round and have good working relationships with judges and etc. You really need to get a lawyer who specializes in this type of case.

Yeah, like. If you're at some bar in Columbus and a cop is like "can I see an ID" and you show him yours (after you turn 21 of course) he's going to be like "Ok, thanks" not "oh, you're that kid who got probation months ago and isn't supposed to be in a bar".
