Seems to me you're the one having the heart attack because God forbid someone disagrees with you!

BTW, the only thing Man City is doing is inflating the transfer market.

I would say my last statement was as close to a factual opinion as you can get..so yes when someone, especially you, disagrees with me then yeah I'm going to want to hear why they don't feel that way.

I do agree though about the transfer market, do you think it could affect the relegation status of the epl? With lower level teams not being able to afford the talent that only a select handfull of teams can, will that cause them to do away with relegation?

^^^^^IMO, relegation can never be done away with, there's too many lower level clubs in not only England but the rest of Europe. Plus, there's too much money to be made with sponsors and bookmaking for them to ever consider it. In some years, the relegation fight is more exciting to watch especially when the league has been decided well in advance.

As for Man city's spending, it can effect not only lower level clubs but mid table ones too in their ability to stay up. Gamble on a big signing (or two) and he's a bust........you're in big trouble with devastating financial pit falls.

Plus mid-level teams now cant really afford their stars for more than a year or two. They are like the Tribe lol....develope the world class players and try to reap the rewards in the 1 or 2 years they are at that level with you before you sell them to the big boys.

??? whats your point. Milner is good, but not world class. Plus, even if you consider him that good he is a single example you gave. I can give like 5 off the top of my head that have happened for Barcelona in the last couple years alone.

-Dani Alves from Sevilla
-Keita from Sevilla
-Toure from Monaco
-Villa from Valencia
-Abidal from Lyon
-Adriano from Sevilla
-Milito from Zaragoza
-Ronaldhino from PSG
-Eto'o from Mallorca
-Deco from Porto
-Marquez from Monaco

And this is from a club that produces more of the worlds best players than any other club. They produce for of their current squad than any other club in the world and they STILL have that many stars they simply bought from teams that needed to sell.

I was agreeing with your point, that mid-level clubs are forced to sell their good players, like Aston Villa will probably be forced to sell Milner to City, for example.

Oh ok, I thought you meant they were going to be able to keep Milner. I was very confused haha, but I know they are trying to keep him...I doubt they can though.

If they wanna shell out 30 million, I say let Milner walk on a sell to buy, but Iunno. We'll see. It's going to be a blow to my FIFA game, that's for sure.

Good win by Liverpool yesterday in 3rd round of Europa cup. Inexperienced lineup, but Hodgson earns his first win as Liverpool manager with a 2-0 win over FC Rabotnicki.

David N'Gog scores twice to lead the Reds.

FA Community Shield: Man United vs Chelsea, tomorrow at 10AM on FSC.

I remember when this game was hotly contested and not that it still isn't, but the clubs treat it as a semi warm up now a days more than anything else. Although, this should be a good match.

Completely agree. Throw in a little optimism for the Cavs, and I'm very excied.

Man United win the Community Shield 3-1 over Chelsea. Paul Scholes looked really good as did Valencia and Rooney. What a signing Javier Hernandez is for United, he scored a goal and looked dangerous through out the match.

Sucks that this isnt taken as seriously as it once was, but still an entertaining game. Glad to see ManU get the win over Chelsea, hopefully it is some foreshadowing to the season (ie, Chelsea not winning, I dont care what ManU does).

I loved the Javier signing from day 1. Dude just has a knack for scoring goals. Should fit in VERY well with Rooney.
