Yesterday sucked ass and a lot of people are just pissed. People who are saying Lebron is just gonna be Robin to Wades Batman know thats not true, but want to just find any and all reasons to try and shit on Lebron. And it should be expected for a month or so.(and when the season starts back up)

TL;DNR version
Just let people be pissed for a while.

never happen. They won't draw half of what they drew this year. I for one....welcomed the Lebron bandwagoners when they came. That is what a superstar does...brings fans into the game. I will be a little depressed now that we have the Kid Congo vs Kobe debates....just not the same.

i'll never understand this argument. i've never been to a miami dolphins home game, yet i'm still a fan. i've only been to 1 indians game (and it was at GABP), but i'm still a fan. i've gone to as many or more LSU (4) and Wyoming (7) home football games, than OSU games (4), yet I'm still a buckeye fan.

just because I don't plunk down $100 bucks to go to a game doesn't make me less of a fan. In fact I'd be more inclined to go to a cavs game now since prices won't be really high, and I might be able to get tickets when they come to NOLA or Houston.

What he is doing is calling out the "LeBron Fans" not REAL Cavs fans.

If someone's truly a fan does it really matter who others like? Does it really matter if those same people don't appreciate the fact that you are fan of a certain franchise?

Born and raised in Ohio with many family members who either graduated from OSU or currently go there and I Love Michigan. Always have and always will. went threw 3-9 and 5-7 and will gladly do it again. I got no problem with people rooting for teams other than in their state. Put it this way, I used to root for the tribe the the resent hiring of the worst coach in the league really set me off and now i don't root for anyone. The brows were not a team when I grew up so I am a Cowboys fan. Also it was hard not to root for the bulls as a 12 year old kid when someone that great is on the floor. I am a fan of every team in Cleveland including the Browns but Cowboys are my number one.

Point is there is a huge difference between a front runner and someone who chooses to root for a team not in the nearest city. My best friend loves the Seahocks for some reason and he has done so for 10 years now.

By the way people are not fans of a player, it's winning. If the Cavs had no superstar and still won 60 games a year, you bet your ass the Q would be sold out. Cleveland sports want and need a winner and weather a whole team does it or one guy, either way people will be excited.

This is true in any sport at any level. Winning = fans and popularity.

yup a typo. Good job. I am a bandwagoner (also not a word) because I root for a Michigan team who is really killing it. I mean they did win the national tittle last year and everything.

Cleveland in general is the worst in all sports and its not even close. All you have to do is read this forum the last two days and it's quite obvious.

While I am aware that there are many true objective Cleveland fans.....I feel for them. But the majority is full of straight tards and I can't help but laugh. I truly thank you for the entertainment.

Oh please, GTFO with that.

Go on an ESPN board and check out ANY team.. Trust me, it's 100x worse than this.

Cleveland has a lot of great fans, just like any city.. It also has a lot of obnoxious idiots, just like every city..

One thing you can't fault or hold blame on anyone, which you are doing, is when they are speaking out of anger/distraught... It's obvious Cleveland fans are pissed off and of course people are going to vent..

It happens.

So you think as a whole the Cleveland fanbase has handled this situation well? If I were a Cleveland supporter I'd be flat out embarrassed.

What exactly is so wrong?

PEople are pissed. Usually when you're pissed you don't communicate with your brain, but you heart.

Hell, it's not like LeBron went about it the right way.. To go on National TV and take a shit on everyone of his fans who had his back since he was in HS?

You're just one of those people from Ohio who root for Michigan to piss off Ohio State fans and be different because you think it's cool. As such you are nothing but an attention whore.

This is true to an extent. If the Cavs win, people will come.. Same with any team..

HOWEVER, to say people are not fans of a player is foolish. I know people who are fans of players and players only.. Whether it be in the NFL or NBA, I know a couple people who choose to follow players only..

Hell, we had a poster on here who was a self anointed LeBron fan. During the Celtics series all of us Cavs fan were flipping out on LeBron because it looked like he quit (come to find out he really did) and SQ was always there to defend LeBron and called us stupid and everything else..

Well, he's no longer here. Obviously he was wrong about LeBron. I'm sure he's now going to be a Heat fan though.
