LOL!
Vociferously! Here's the deal. I am watching the Catholic schools lay whoopins on people tonight. I think it would very easy to translate those wins into projections for tomorrow. I went to practice tonight. These kids are loose and ready to play with abandon. If there is any pressure, it is on St Paul. GCC has put no pressure on themselves at all. I'm just sayin', this is a trap game. Just be careful my NSP brothers and sisters.
What religious denomination does Grove City Christian affix itself too? Lutheran, Presbyterian, etc.?
Thanks,

Only 1 game within 10 points tonight. Hopefully the Flyers can pull off another lopsided victory tomorrow night! GO FLYERS!

Thanks,
Non denominational... when you read the book.. Jesus wasn't so much hanged up on rules, say this, do that, stand, sit, sing this, say that, etc.
"The Church of the Nazarene is a Great Commission church. We believe that God offers to everyone forgiveness, peace, joy, purpose, love, meaning in life, and the promise of heaven when life is over by entering and experiencing a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. We are called to take this message to people everywhere."

Ladies and Gentlemen. Its finally gameday. Everyone have a safe trip to Ashland. For those of you who are going to tailgate, we'll see you there. Today is the day we will see the results of the woofin' and stats comparisons and angles and whatever. The Eagles are going to introduce themselves to the states. They are loose, prepared, ready and hungry for more. Go Eagles!!

I feel bad for the winner because 1. The huddle will be dry next week, there is only like 17 posts on the DSJ v. ML thread. and 2. The only thing you will hear is "The MAC is the Lords gift to western Ohio..yada yada...", Then again it might not be dry on here because they are more than likely talking about the ML DSJ game on a MAC forum. Yet then again, whoever wins that game will probably just start a thread with Coldwater to talk about MAC football together. (only kidding) it's Game day! goodnight

There is no guarantee DSJ will get past MS. Wasn't this year the first year that senior group beat MS. Interesting, but there is a different thread for that conversation. Let them annoint themselves. The winner of this game will know that they can compete with anyone.
I am sure the players and coaches are focused squarely on this game.
Cant wait for the thing to start already! Leaving in 7.5 hours.

My reasoning tells me NSP by atleast a couple of scores. My gut tells me 2 things. I'm hungry and this will be a close game where both teams will have their chances to win.

The GCC supporters have been saying all week that NSP is over confident, and looking past them. Hopefully you read the article in the morning journal posted above. The last quote by Coach Livengood says it all.
Livengood said. "But we have to stay focused on Grove City. If we are going to win, we are going to have to play our best football."
St. Paul respects each and every opponent they play. They prepare for each opponent the same way. They never look past anyone. The coaches never leave a stone unturned while preparing for an opponent. But I guess you guys were just looking to build some bulletin board material for your team to help motivate them. Our boys know they must show up tonight and give their best effort if they expect to win. This should be a good game. LETS GO FLYERS!!

Have you ever heard a coach say anything other than a similar statement about the next opponent, ever?

Speaking of hunger, stop by our tailgate at the dentist office 910 Katherine and share food and fellowship.

I am not too sure posters have been looking past GCC. Most of the arguments have centered on those posts that predict a blowout based on practically no exposure to GCC's program. I would hope and expect Flyer fan roots for the Flyers and Eagle fan roots for the Eagles. Stats don't always mean everything.....hold on....the Washington Huskies are on the phone...........

I put this similar question out to Malvern fans last week. What is NSP going to do that GCC will be incapable of coping with?
Their Qb Gets rid of the ball so fast, and with enough velocity, that very few kids at the high school level can react to that quick enough to stop it. And the kids he is throwing it too can catch it.
And that is just one thing off the top of my head.
Good luck to both teams.
But if NSP looses this game I will be shocked!

How many picks did he throw last week? My point is no one or no team is invincible. GCC has nothing to lose, and the quiet confidence I see in these guys is refreshing. I'll say again. This is a dangerous situation for NSP. Btw- you won't be the only one who is shocked. Go Eagles! Introduce yourselves!

Believe me. I am highly impressed with Schweiterman. He, like everyone else, is not invincible. Nobody on that filed today is a man-child super dude. Everyone and every team has weaknesses that can be exploited. Very zen-like of me, huh?....hold on.....Appalachian State is on the phone......

By my count we had 3 from GCHS, one from CCHS, and one from Franklin Heights. All but one (Jeremy Stump) are juniors. All are starters. All are coming back.

Am I reading correctly that he averages 23.66 yards per catch? Nice.

Squirmydog, your constant posting and enthusiasm has inspired me to forego the Alter game 1 mile from my house and make the 180 mile round trip to Ashland. I'll see you there. You too Dave33.

Excellent! We'll see ya there. Mrs. Squirmy and the little dogs are getting ready to take off for Ashland. It's been a joy to "meet" the fans on this thread. I hope everyone has a safe trip and stops by the tailgate. Mrs. Squirmy made her brownies(without-btw) which have created fistfights among greater people than us. If I do post again before the game, it will be from my blackberry, so expect lots of missing and mispelled words. Don't say I didn't warn you. Go Eagles!!!!

NSP 21 GCC 0 with 505 to go in second. Flyers too fast for the eagles.
