It was a combination of both. But to say RR called a good game is blind loyalty. UM was passing all over OSU and when they were driving late in the game he starts running it again? I saw a lot of bad coaching yesterday and apparently alot of the Michigan fans that were in the stands next to me agreed. Hell, I was an OSU fan asking them why they were leaving with 5 minutes to go and the ball. They were down by 2 scores, they had no faith in RR or Forcier.

What do you want him to do pass every single play? Tate got picked off by gibson with around 5 mins left. Then he benched him (after his 5th turnover) and put robinson in, where robinson went 1 for 3 and was sacked on the last offensive play for michigan so you are wrong about the running constantly late in the game

RR and Greg Robinson both called good games, they took a team that finished last in the big10 against team that is big10 champs and has way more talent and made it a game. Take away just 1 turnover for Michigan and we are talking about possibly the biggest upset of the year.

If you can point out where I said Michigan was running the ball constantly late in the game, I'll concede to you. I didn't say that though.

Do I expect him to pass every play, no. But when they just got a big gain on a passing play and then procede to run on 1st and 2nd down, when on that particular drive the pass was working, yea, that is bad coaching.

Ok, take away the one turnover. But if we're changing things that happened, I'd like to have Pryor complete two deep passes where TP had wide open receivers for td's. So if you want to play the "what if" game, if that happened, OSU wins by 25 points instead of 11.

What happened, happened. What exactly are you trying to prove? Michigan played about as well as I expected them to. I didn't think they would go as easily as last year.

That your comment about Rich Rod making tressels "in-game adjusments" look like a genius are wrong. Oh and that you are wrong about them running on 1st and 2nd down late in the game. On the last 3 drives there was 1 rush play called on 1st or second down and that was the play before the int on the 6 yard line. Another time Robinson scrambled on a called pass play. So once again how did Rich Rod call a bad game? Trust me I would be the first on here calling Rich Rod out if he called a bad game, but he didn't.

RR called a good game but it was against a very good defense that leads the nation in turnovers forced.

i think Rich Rod is the best coach next to lllllloyd that michigan has ever had. i think he should have a ten year contract like Notre Dame gave Chuck. after all how many years did it take Tressel after he was hired? oops i probably should not have ask that one. anyhow GO BUCKS.

I am willing to give him some leeway, but man up and take it like a man. Do the job, recruit what you need, and get better. But it does not show any class to pass the blame to someone else.

While there is some truth to this, it can only go so far. No way we only had 3-9 and 5-7 talent, if you played to their strengths.

It's not as if Carr purposely left the program with no recruits. When any coach leaves, some players and recruits will jump ship. Which is exactly what happened.

What exactly was the strength of the Offense we had in his first year? Do you really think that Nick Sheridan and Steven Threet were going to be the future of Michigan, so why not run your system and get everyone else a year ahead of schedule. Not to mention we had zero run game because of injuries at RB. This year the offense was pretty good imo the losses were on the D for the most part.

I wasn't saying it like "oh carr left the program in the shitter to make the next coach look bad" but honestly the only recruit/player that hurt UM by leaving was Mallet. Actualy I think almost all the recruits stayed when rr was hired.

Mallet had to be convinced to stay at Michigan after the spring game his freshman year, and during the season again. He grew up a Arkansas fan and was never 100% michigan. RR tried to convince him to stay but he wanted nothing to do with him or michigan.
